About Im Here

Arthur's Story

Arthur Burchett founded Im Here to raise awareness around the challenges faced by Aussies experiencing unemployment, poverty and mental health issues.

Coming from a low socio-economic background, Arthur faced limited opportunity and battled mental health issues of his own. He was lost, at times wondering if life was even worth living.

Without the support of Arthur's friends reassuring him that he was stronger than his circumstances, things might have taken a turn for the worse.

Im Here is a response to the same struggles Arthur and many other Aussies experience—and a story of survival, with the strength of community to rely on when life feels heavy.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed and enjoy life.

Im Here is a safe space for our buddies to talk openly about their struggles and receive support.

We create opportunities for Aussies facing adversity to overcome their circumstances and live prosperous and fulfilling lives—your contribution connects us with the buddies who need us.

We live and breathe our values: we're stronger together.

We've personally known the struggles of feeling alone, so we want to help as many buddies as we can to build a connected community and face the hard stuff—together.

Our people, our buddies

Our people are real to us: with real lives and real challenges, in need of real support.

Becoming our buddy means having a safe space to be seen and heard, without feeling like just another number in the queue.

Support that's personal

Our buddies are never alone: we embody our name by offering support in any situation.

We'll always help where we can. If we can't do something, we personally connect our buddies with the people who can.

Honesty that's integral

We care for each and every one of our buddies, and caring means being honest.

Honesty is at the core of everything we do: it allows us to see things clearly, understand circumstances and offer personal support for every person.

We promise honesty, and ask for it in return.

Need support? We're Here.

When life feels heavy, you’re not alone—let’s face the hard stuff together.
